The "Get Involved" blog on this page is written by our Patient and Public Involvement Officer. The blog includes the latest opportunities to Get Involved with Rushcliffe CCG and advice about Healthy Living.

Helen Limb is our Patient and Public Involvement Officer, a post she has held since Principia days in 2006. Prior to that she was a Carer Co-ordinator with Rushcliffe Primary Care Trust and subsequently with Nottinghamshire Primary Care Trust.

Helen’s previous employment have all involved working with the public, including being a Travel Manager (with the RAF) and a Registered Dental Nurse.

Helen grew up in Rushcliffe, lived in Rushcliffe until recently and has family living in the borough.

Our aim is to transform care and support for individuals so that their care is focused on keeping them healthy, well and whenever appropriate supported in the community rather than staying in unnecessary inpatient settings.

We are committed to involving patients, families, carers, the public and staff who are providing services over the coming months to help ensure that we get the community services right .

Developing future mental health services for veterans

The engagement will run until 31 March 2016 and NHS England is encouraging responses from a range of stakeholders, including veterans who have or have had a mental health illness, their families and carers, service charities, commissioners and providers offering treatment and support in this area

First in country to sign pledge for deaf patients
