Personal Health Budget (PHB) Local Offer

From 1 October 2014 people who are eligible for NHS continuing health care, including children and young people have had the right to be considered for a personal health budget.

In addition, the right to be considered for a personal health budget is part of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice published by the Department of Education.

Changes to gluten-free food availability on prescription

Following a three month consultation period, the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups for Rushcliffe, Nottingham North and East and Nottingham West are changing their policy in relation to the availability of gluten-free food on prescription.

Health leaders call to action in run up to Easter break

Health leaders in Greater Nottingham are urging people who use regular medication to make sure they order their repeat prescriptions in plenty of time for the Easter bank holidays. 

The call comes as health providers prepare for one of the busiest weekends of the year, with GPs concerned that people with long term health problems who don’t have sufficient supplies of their medication could end up in hospital.

New care models – vanguard sites
