Jenny Letts Rushcliffe All Ears Group organiser, gave members information about the group which meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at Epperstone Ct, Epperstone Road, West Bridgford 10.30 – 12.00 and offers support to people affected by Hearing Loss, Tinnitus or Balance Issues
Information was also given to members about the Ear Foundation ‘Hear to Help’ drop in session that takes place on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Baptist Church, Melton Road, West Bridgford 10.00 – 11.00am which provides help and advice on hearing aids / maintenance and battery changes.
‘Let’s Live Well In Rushcliffe’ Link workers gave an overview of the project, showed members the Green book (a patient held wellness plan) and answered questions
Sue Cain from the Carers Trust East Midlands Carer services, talked about her role with the Nottinghamshire Carers Hub which provides help and support to Carers and gave out information about the new Carers Support group established in Keyworth

As a result of the meeting a Health Coach from the North Area of Rushcliffe made contact to find out more about the Long Term Conditions Forum.
Long Term Conditions Forum 20 September 2017, 10:00 - 11:30am, Rushcliffe Arena
Wednesday 20 September saw the Long Term Conditions forum have its first meeting at Rushcliffe Arena. Dr Neil Fraser gave an update about what people with long term conditions can expect from their GP practice and Liz Walker the project manager from ‘Let’s Live Well in Rushcliffe’ spoke about the service. The group then had table discussions to give ideas and suggestions for future topics, venues etc.

The forum meeting included a marketplace event with stalls from various services available to support people within Rushcliffe.
A talk was given by Dr Neil Fraser on Long Term Conditions and what patients could expect from their local GP practice.
